Diesel becomes cheaper by Rs 8.36 per liter in Delhi, VAT reduced by 30%July 30, 2020
New Delhi, Business Desk. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has decided to reduce VAT on diesel, after which diesel has become cheaper in the capital. The cabinet has reduced VAT on diesel from 30 per cent to 16.75 per cent. Diesel has now become cheaper at Rs 8.36 per liter in Delhi due to reduction in VAT. The price of diesel was earlier from Rs 82 which has now come down to Rs 73.64 per liter.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that this decision has been taken in the meeting of Delhi Cabinet on Thursday. He said that many people, especially businessmen, were complaining that the price of diesel in Delhi is very high. Therefore, it has been decided.
