Consumers who are not taking ration for a long time under the public distribution system will be reviewed. Based on this, the names of new eligible consumers will be added. The situation should be rectified in the districts where complaints of consumer stores are being received.
CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said this in the video conference of all the collectors. He also gave instructions to distribute the ration of June. The meeting was reviewed regarding distribution of ration.
During this, Principal Secretary Food Civil Supplies Shivasekhar Shukla informed that 88 percent food grains have been distributed. Ration from March to May has already been given. To ensure that consumers do not have difficulty in rationing, the requirement of biometric has also been closed for the time being. Survey of consumers has also been done. Eligible consumers are getting food. Wherever complaints have been received, they are being rectified.
There will be no shortage of manure
In the meeting, the CM told the officials that in order to ensure supply of fertilizer according to the need of the state, an additional urea of six lakh tonnes has been sought from the Central Government. The Union Minister has also assured to cooperate.
He instructed the officials to take immediate action to get the additional quota and keep contact with the central authorities. Officials said that efforts are being made to increase the quota continuously on our behalf. Continuous communication is being done to give six and a half lakh tonnes of wheat purchased last year to the central pool.
