2 applications for Hora Secretary General, Treasurer
The names of the officials of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association (COA) are almost certain. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the post of president of the union and Gurcharan Singh Hora for the post of general secretary are certain to be elected unopposed. Only one application was received for both these posts. Both the officials are president and secretary of Chhattisgarh Tennis Association.
The application for the post of treasurer was submitted by Chhatisgarh Swimming Association Secretary Sahi Ram Jakhar and Hockey Chhattisgarh President Feroz Ansari. Efforts are on to convince either of them to withdraw the name. The list of candidates has been released on Sunday. The election will be held on July 25 at a hotel on VIP Road to set up a new COA executive. Please tell that former CM Dr. Raman Singh has been the President three times.
