Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be unveiling 73 development works worth nearly Rs 102 crore 13 lakh in the programme to be organized in district headquarters Balodabazar on September 8. Mr. Baghel will inaugurate 38 development works worth nearly Rs 76 crore 8 lakh at the programme to be organized by Chhattisgarhiya Sarva Samaj and do bhumi-pujan of 35 construction works worth nearly Rs 26 crore. In this programme to be organized at Dussehra Ground, Mr. Baghel will distribute goods and cheques to beneficiaries under various government schemes.
The development works to be inaugurated by Chief Minister include 11 works of PWD worth Rs 57 crore 28 lakh, 24 works of Panchayat and Rural Development Department worth Rs two crore 20 lakh, two works of Water Resource Department worth Rs 8 crore 37 lakh, and development works worth nearly Rs 8 crore 23 lakh under DMF fund. Chief Minister will do bhumi-pujan of 16 works of PWD worth Rs 18 crore 26 lakh, 16 Nal-Jal Yojana related works worth Rs 7 crore 45 lakh, and three works worth Rs 34 lakh under Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Chief Minister will be distributing motorcycles to 10 fishermen under Neeli Kranti Yojana of Fishery Department, cheques worth Rs 20 lakh and Suposhan Kits to 31 women on behalf of Women and Child Development Department.
