Shanghai. China is going to build six to eight nuclear reactors between 2020 and 2025 for the next five years. Citing the country’s nuclear union, China Daily said on Thursday that China will increase its current capacity by 43.5 percent to 70 GW (Gigawatts) compared to May. The Nuclear Energy Association of China has said that the country’s total nuclear capacity is expected to remain at 52 GW by the end of 2020, which is less than the 58 GW target, but it will soon be back on track and by the year 2035, The capacity will be 200 GW.
