Raipur: Chief Secretary Shri R.P. A meeting was held today in connection with the implementation of the ambitious and innovative Government of Chhattisgarh government’s scheme under the chairmanship of the board at the Mahanadi Bhavan. In the meeting, the outline of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, the implementation of the plan and the income expenditure were discussed in detail. Additional Chief Secretary of Finance Department Mr. Amitabh Jain and Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Mr. Rakesh Chaturvedi attended the meeting.
Chief Secretary Shri R.P. The Board has said that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana of the state government is an innovative scheme of its kind. He informed that the scheme is being launched on the auspicious occasion of Hareli festival. He informed that the Godhan Nyaya Yojana is being started in Chhattisgarh to promote conservation of cow and organic fertilizer. Under this, cow dung will be purchased from cattle ranchers. The Chief Secretary has instructed agriculture, animal husbandry, rural development, forest department and other departmental officers to work unitedly with coordination and participation for successful implementation of the scheme. He has asked collectors of all districts, chief executive officers of district panchayats, forest divisional officers, officials of urban bodies, deputy directors of agriculture and animal husbandry to work with team spirit.
In the meeting, the role and training of Gothan Committees and local self-help groups for preparing cow dung collection vermi compost was discussed in detail. In the meeting, the officials expressed their views regarding the preparations for the implementation of the scheme in rural and urban areas. In the meeting, Dr. M. Geeta, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Agriculture Production Commissioner, gave detailed information about the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Principal Secretary Rural Development Department Gaurav Dwivedi, Principal Secretary Forest Department Mr. Manoj Pingua, Urban Administration Development Department Secretary Ms. Alarmel Mangai D. and other departments were present.
