The family was happy to find Chief Minister among themselves Bhopal: Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 18:24 IST Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan during his stay in Dewas on Wednesday in Ward 42 Bengali Colony The beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban reached the residence of Mr. Nikhil Sarkar and had lunch. The family welcomed Chief Minister Mr. Chauhan by playing conch-plate. Nikhil Sarkar’s family was very happy to see the Chief Minister coming to his house. The family served Chief Minister Mr. Chauhan with Bengali love, Kheer, Ras Gulla, Brinjal Bhaiyan, Peetha, Potato Paneer Sabji, Mix Vegetable, Roti, Rice, Puri and Moong Dal. Nikhil Sarkar’s family of electricians has been living in Dewas since 1978. He got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana two years ago, from which he has built his house in 500 square feet. 100 Bengali families reside in Bengali Colony. Around 50 families have got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan saw the Rangoli made by Netaji Shri Subhash Chandra Bose by the residents of the colony. He thanked Nikhil Sarkar’s family for providing tasty food and also wished for the housing provided under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. On this occasion, women of Bengali family also photographed with Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was accompanied by MP Shri Mahendra Singh Solanki, MLAs and officials of the district.
