The Chhattisgarh

Beyond The Region

Chhattisgarh’s politics has become ‘red’ at the price of Rs 580 per kg tomato

Chhattisgarh, the state’s politics turned red with the price of tomatoes. On the basis of the document extracted in the Right to Information, it was claimed that tomatoes were purchased at the quarantine center at the rate of Rs 580. As soon as this news came out, BJP and Congress leaders became active. The rate list for buying vegetables was checked by Congress leaders. After this, the Congressmen came to the rescue of the government. Taking a step ahead, the BJP not only attacked the government, but also did not hold back from besieging Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. The arrow of statements on social media served as a political tool. Congress media department president Shailesh Nitin Trivedi tweeted the vegetable seller’s bill and said, “Even the vegetable rate is telling lies, the pit of the sins of the BJP is divided.” Trivedi said that in the hurry to find the mistakes of Bhupesh Sarkar, the BJP’s mathematics went wrong. One carat tomato was counted one kilo. BJP leaders are suffering in the stomach due to the public interest work of the Congress government dedicated to the villages, poor and farmers of Chhattisgarh. Caught another lie of BJP The BJP state president and leaders made false statements by calling the price of one carat tomato a kilo. Their misrepresentation leads to the end of credibility. Former Minister Ajay Chandrakar tweeted – Is there any morality to investigate this incident in the government which has given long speeches in Corona during the assembly session? Tomatoes are priced at 580 rupees a kg, so what is the rate of the remaining vegetables, the government should highlight? BJP leader OP Chaudhary tweeted – The people of Chhattisgarh are seeing how the government is working? The farmer brothers are getting hardly any money in exchange for a quintal of tomatoes, a kg of tomatoes is being purchased here.
