On the festival of Holi, Indian Railways has announced special facilities for travelers, so that they can reach their destination easily and enjoy the festival. South Central Railway (SCR) has announced 14 Holi special trains for the convenience of passengers, which will run between Cherlapalli, Shalimar, Santragachi, Jalna and Patna on various dates in March 2025.
The route of these special trains includes major stations like Nalgonda, Mariyalaguda, Nadikude, Sattenapalla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajmundari, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Vijayanagaram, Bhuvaneshwar, Cuttack and Kharagpur. Similarly, trains for passengers traveling between Jalna and Patna will stop at Pastur, Selu, Manwat Road, Parbhani, Poorna, Akola, Shegaon, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Buxar, Ara and other major stations. Each special train will include 2 AC, 3 AC, sleeper class and general second class coaches, which will ensure options for passengers of all categories.
In addition, South East Central Railway has decided to operate three special trains from Gondia to Chhapra and Patna, which will pass through several major stations including Bhatapara. The aim of these trains is to control the increasing crowd during Holi and provide smooth journey to the passengers.
