Dongargarh. Two servants in the district created a false story of loot to teach the owner a lesson. The police, revealing the entire case, arrested two accused, including the minor. Along with this, a bag full of millions of rupees has also been recovered.
In fact, Dhanraj Sinha, two workers of businessman Spneyle Gupta, resident of Rajnandgaon, and his minor nephew were returning from Dongargarh on March 5 with business money. It was the accused who lodged a report at the police station that both of them were returning from Dongargarh on March 5 with business money. During this, four unidentified miscreants stopped their car near the Pragyagiri Hanuman temple, threatened by showing a knife and then looted Rs 1.01 lakh and a mobile and escaped.
When the police started investigating the case, their statements were not matching. On repeated questions, they started giving a round-the-off answer, which made the police suspicious. On strict interrogation, the accused confessed to false robbery.
It is being told that on March 4, Spaneil Gupta’s elder brother Ankit Gupta scolded Dhanraj for some work. Angered by this, Dhanraj and his nephew hatched a false conspiracy to loot. On the night of March 5, he stopped the car himself and broke his glass, then hid a bag full of money and the mobile in the Prajnagiri Hanuman Temple in Dongargarh. After this, he went to Rajnandgaon and told the story of false robbery from the owner. When the police searched him at his stated place, he was hidden. Accused Dhanraj Sinha (22) was arrested and produced in the court, while the minor was sent to the Children’s Court.
