Ravi Goyal, Sakti. In the district, SP Ankita Sharma has taken a new initiative to provide immediate help to the people injured in road accidents. The SP has given the responsibility of helping the roadside motor mechanic and fruit vegetable seller by making them traffic friends of the Sakti Police.
On the instructions of SP, Sakti Traffic Police has appealed to the motor mechanic fruit vegetable vendors operating on the main roads of the district to help the police. Also, pamphlets with the number of the police assistance center have been installed in their shops, so that if needed, information about any accident can be immediately given to the police and the needy person can get help in time.

Sakti Superintendent of Police Ankita Sharma said that under the direction of Inspector General of Police Bilaspur Range Sanjeev Shukla, by marking black spots (accident prone areas) on the National Highway, State Highway and village roads of the district, instructions were given to all the police stations and traffic branches to reduce road accidents. A campaign is being run to follow traffic rules. Under this, Traffic Mitras are being formed in Sakti district area. Roadside first responders and informers are being formed by making motor mechanics, fruit sellers, vegetable shopkeepers and others traffic friends, so that information regarding road accidents can be immediately given to the police station and the injured can be given proper treatment. Can be immediately sent to hospital for treatment.
SP said, all the police outposts and traffic branches have constituted Traffic Mitras in their respective areas and posters of Traffic Mitras are being put up in first responders and informers, motor mechanics, fruit sellers, vegetable sellers, hotel operators, tire shop owners and other shops. In this, mobile number of control room power, mobile number of police station in-charge/traffic branch in-charge and numbers of other police staff are being given. In case of any kind of incident or accident, awareness is being made regarding establishing contact with the control room, traffic station in-charge/in-charge of traffic branch and other police staff on the numbers given in the post.
