Mungeli: In Mungeli district of Chhattisgarh, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has taken a major action while taking a bribe from the farmer while taking a bribe from the farmer, it is being told that the accused Patwari Sushil Jaiswal and Assistant Gulab Das Manikpuri, accused in lieu of demarcation from the farmer. There was a demand of one lakh rupees.
According to the information received, Vaibhav Soni father Shekhar Soni, a resident of village Ramgarh, had applied for land demarcation, in return for which revenue inspector Naresh Sahu, Patwari Sushil Jaiswal had sought a bribe of five lakh rupees. Due to the same troubled, the farmer complained to Bilaspur ACB on 19 November 2024.
The complaint was found correct in verification of ACB. During the verification, Patwari agreed to take a bribe of four lakh rupees, after which Patwari reached Jaiswal to give one lakh rupees today. Patwari asked the farmer to give to his assistant Gulab Das Manikpur. After this, along with taking bribe to the assistant in Mungeli Patwari office, Patwari was also caught by ACB and one lakh rupees.
Action is being taken against the accused Patwari Sushil Jaiswal and Assistant Gulab Das Manikpuri under Section 7, 12 PC Act 1988. At the same time, the role of RI Naresh Sahu is being investigated in the case.
