On the initiative of Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, the stoppage of trains which were closed at various railway stations of Bilaspur parliamentary constituency since the Corona period is going to start again. Let us tell you that due to the stoppage of trains during the Corona period, thousands of passengers including common citizens, students, employees, businessmen were facing many challenges. When Tokhan Sahu was going on a tour in the concerned area during the Lok Sabha election campaign, during that time the general public was prominently demanding stoppage of trains. After becoming the Union Minister of State, Tokhan Sahu met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav as per the wishes of the people of the area and talked about restarting the stopped stoppage of trains. On this, the Union Railway Minister has easily taken a decision in the interest of railway passengers.

    Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given a message of good news to Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu through a letter. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said in the letter that you will be happy to know that on 28-06-2024, stoppage of trains at Kargiroad Railway Station, Belgahna Railway Station and Tagnamada Railway Station has been approved. Train No. 18477/18478 Puri-Yognagari Rishikesh Express at Kargiroad Railway Station, Train No. 18241/18242 Durg-Ambikapur Express at Belgahna Railway Station and Train No. 18257/18258 Bilaspur-Chirmiri Express at Tenganmada Railway Station have been approved for stoppage.

    20 thousand crores will be available for the new railway project in Chhattisgarh

    On this occasion, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu said that on behalf of the people of Bilaspur parliamentary constituency, I thank Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for approving the stoppage of trains. Sahu said that in the coming years, under the leadership of the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, you will see such a transformation of Indian Railways, which no one would have even imagined. In the next one and a half years, 20 thousand crore rupees will be received for the new railway project in Chhattisgarh. As soon as the information of the stoppage of the train was received, a wave of happiness ran among the people of the parliamentary constituency.
