Durg:- The Durg Police and Excise Department has caught five hundred boxes of liquor in the farm house of Block Congress Committee President Mahendra Verma in joint action. Liquor was deposited to divide the urban body elections.
According to the information, the farm house of Mahendra Verma, chairman of the Block Congress Committee located in village Funda of Patan assembly constituency, was reported to have kept a large amount of liquor.
The joint team of police and excise departments has seized liquor by taking chamopper action at night. On the spot, in -charge of three police stations and additional SPs are still present.
