Raipur, March 09, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has announced the formation of an Entrepreneurship Commission in Chhattisgarh. This commission will strengthen the entrepreneurial culture in the state and study the possibilities of employment creation. Under this, work will be done for skill development and employment training of the youth.
Chief Minister Shri Sai made this announcement yesterday while addressing the All India Executive Council meeting of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch at Agrasen Dham in the capital Raipur. On this occasion, he also released the book “Swadeshi Ki Vikas Yatra” dedicated to the historical journey of the Manch.
Adopting Swadeshi is the most important step towards a developed India
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that to build “Developed Chhattisgarh and Developed India @2047”, we must assimilate Swadeshi. He said that the Swadeshi Jagran Manch has always advocated for self-reliance and promotion of indigenous industries.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that India is a vast and prosperous country. Abundant natural resources are available here, and we also have the world’s largest young population. This not only provides us with a huge consumer market, but also opens up immense possibilities for innovation and industrialization.
Chief Minister Shri Sai also drew attention to the changes taking place in the global scenario. He said that in view of the changes taking place in the global order, the role of national institutions like Swadeshi Jagran Manch becomes even more important.
From Make in India to Self-Reliant India
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the “Make in India” campaign has provided protection and support to industries to promote indigenous production in India. He said that today India has become self-reliant in almost every field. We encouraged our industrialists, provided them with the necessary facilities, and as a result, we are now not only meeting domestic needs, but are also emerging strongly in the global market.
Indigenous industries will get a boost in Bastar region
Chief Minister Shri Sai called for active participation of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch in the reconstruction and development of Naxal-affected areas. He said that due to the new policies of the state government and the effective efforts of the security forces, Naxalism has now shrunk to a very limited area. Now is the time that with the cooperation of Swadeshi Jagran Manch, industries should be established in these areas, so that local youth get employment and they do not turn towards Naxalism.
New Industrial Policy: Highest priority to employment creation
The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy has been prepared in accordance with the natural resources and regional needs of the state. Highest priority has been given to employment creation in this policy.
Single window system has been implemented so that the process of setting up industries can be made faster and simpler. Special incentive schemes are also being run to promote the use of local resources.
Entrepreneurship will get a boost, best entrepreneurs were honored
Successful entrepreneurs in various fields were honored with the “Entrepreneurship Promotion Award” in the program. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government will provide all possible assistance to youth and innovation based startups. National Convener of Swadeshi Jagran Manch Shri R. Sundaram, All India Organizer Shri Kashmiri Lal, Chhattisgarh Province Convener Shri Jagdish Patel, eminent industrialists, professors, vice-chancellors, economic experts and a large number of office bearers of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan were present in the meeting.
Notably, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh is now not only moving towards becoming an industrial hub, but is also further strengthening the resolve of “Self-Reliant India” by adopting Swadeshi.
