Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma on Sunday attended the felicitation ceremony and workshop organized by the Chemist and Druggist Association at Veer Savarkar Bhawan, Kawardha. During this, he expressed concern about drugs. Addressing the felicitation ceremony and workshop, he said that we all need to be concerned about the utility of drugs for building a strong society, family and strong Chhattisgarh. It is a pleasant initiative that this social concern is starting from Kabirdham district today. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma said that the Medical Association itself has expressed concern over the usefulness of drugs and their consumption and sale, this is a good beginning.

During the program, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma assured all possible help to the Chemist and Druggist Association on behalf of the Chhattisgarh government in the fight to get rid of drug addiction. He said that there is a need to create public awareness in the society against drug addiction. The association has also decided to expand this liberation war in the entire state. While assuring the Sangh, he said that the concerned Superintendent of Police should also be specially invited in the districts where workshops will be organized under this campaign. For this, full cooperation will be provided by the state government. In the function, the medical director has also decided to keep a record of the people using drugs, this is highly commendable.

Drug de-addiction campaign will be run in the entire state

On the initiative of Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Vijay Sharma, Chhattisgarh Chemist and Druggist Association today passed a proposal to make Kabirdham district a district free from the use of medical medicines as an addiction. Chhattisgarh Chemist and Druggist Association also said that this de-addiction campaign will be run in the entire state in the coming days. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma praised this meaningful initiative. In this felicitation ceremony, state and district level officials of Chhattisgarh Chemist and Druggist Association congratulated Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma.

Chhattisgarh Chemist and Druggist Association has expressed gratitude for the initiative and meaningful efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma for making a provision of Rs 300 crore in the Chhattisgarh budget for the expansion of the much-awaited demand railway line of Kabirdham district. The union said that in the coming days, Kabirdham district will fulfill the concept of a fully developed district.
