Collector Rahul Dev held a meeting of the Education Department in the Maniyari meeting room of the District Collectorate and conducted a thorough review of the departmental work. He took detailed information regarding the utilization of funds received on various items under the Education Department and strongly reprimanded the officers who were not taking interest in the departmental work. A show cause notice was issued to DMC for negligence in work.
Notice to DMC
In case of concealment of information related to allocation and expenditure received without the approval of the Nodal Officer, not preparing any kind of outline for implementation of the allocation received in the education session as per the departmental guidelines within the prescribed time period and lapse of the allocation received, the district Mission Coordinator O.P. Show cause notice was issued to Kaushik.
Instructions for action on teachers’ absence
The Collector took information regarding 100% attendance of teachers in schools and said that action should be taken against teachers who are found absent without notice as per rules. He said that before the new academic session, everything should improve in the schools of the district. Students should get quality education in schools, the learning environment should be good and a better environment should be created. All concerned officers should make efforts to ensure that the name of the district comes on top in the field of education. The Collector directed all the block education officers to make an action plan for summer camps in schools and said that various activities including dance, singing, painting should be organized in the summer camps.
Emphasis on voter awareness
The Collector also directed to make voters aware for 100 percent voting by organizing voter awareness program under the SVEEP program. District Panchayat CEO Prabhakar Pandey said that all the officers should establish mutual coordination and work towards improving the education system in the district. Enrich the knowledge of children by innovating in education. Correct any deficiencies by organizing departmental meetings from time to time. If there is any problem, please inform the district administration, so that it can be resolved in time. On this occasion, District Education Officer Chandrakumar Ghritalhare along with Block Education Officer and BRC were present.
