Raipur. Banned Chinese Manjha took the life of a seven year old innocent boy on Sunday. The child was going for a ride in the garden on a bike with his father, when a cotton swab got stuck in his neck and he started bleeding profusely. The child’s father Dhanesh Sahu, a resident of Laxmi Nagar, became distraught after the incident. With the help of people present nearby, he took his injured child to the hospital, but the child did not survive. This is the third incident in the capital of throat being cut with a Chinese manjha. Despite the ban, the business of this dangerous Manjha is continuing here and kite flyers are not avoiding it.
The name of the child who lost his life after being hit by a Chinese tractor was Pushkar. This child’s father Dhanesh Sahu, resident of Laxmi Nagar, is an automobile mechanic by profession. The incident took place near Radhakrishna temple of Tikrapara police station area. According to Dhanesh, his son started crying loudly due to the manjha stuck in his neck, then he stopped the bike and saw the child, a strong stream of blood was flowing from his neck. Meanwhile, nearby people ran for help and arranged for an ambulance and took the child to the hospital for treatment. The child had died before reaching the hospital. Pushkar was the youngest of two brothers. He was studying in second class. After the incident, the child’s mother is in bad condition and crying. Even after Pushkar’s death, his mother was not ready to return from the hospital and insisted on staying with her son.
Seeing the child bleeding from his throat, he ran to save him.
According to Mutawalli Syed Sajid and Moin Chishti of Sanjay Nagar Mosque, these people were standing near the spot of the incident. Meanwhile, he heard the crying sound of the child riding the bike. Hearing the cry, people around along with Sajid and Moin Chishti ran towards the child. They saw that the manja was stuck around the child’s neck and blood was flowing from his neck. Moin Chishti and Sajid consoled Dhanesh and took the child in an ambulance to the hospital.
Private hospital returned empty handed
Pushkar, who was seriously injured after being hit by Manjha, was taken by his father to a private hospital located at Siddharth Chowk and Bairanbazar for treatment. Seeing Pushkar’s condition, both the hospitals refused to treat him. After this, to save his son’s life, Dhanesh took him to Ambedkar Hospital, where the doctors declared the child dead.
Accident happened while taking Katora Pond Garden
Since it was Sunday, Dhanesh reached home early. He was eating after washing his hands and face. During this time, Pushkar started insisting on taking his father to the garden. Later, when asked about going out for a walk, Pushkar started crying. During this time, the child’s father was heartbroken and Dhanesh left to go to Katora Talab Garden with his son Pushkar sitting in the bike, during which this accident happened.
