‘Life is Precious, Be Sure to Wear a Helmet’: Chief Minister Shri Sai

Raipur, May 9, 2025 / During the Good Governance Festival, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, who arrived in Baldakachar, Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara district for a surprise inspection of the implementation of government schemes, conveyed a road safety message by personally handing helmets to two young people of the village. He presented helmets to Shri Dhananjay Patel, 24 years old, and Smt. Hemlata Chandrakar, 28 years old, of Baldakachar at the chaupal (village gathering place) under the banyan tree. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai appealed to all the people present at the camp to compulsorily wear helmets while driving two-wheelers. He said that every person’s life is precious. In the event of an accident while driving on the road, a helmet protects against serious head injuries. He said that wearing a helmet is not only compliance with traffic rules, but also essential for one’s own safety.
