ISRO expert team to visit Chhattisgarh.
The meeting revealed that an ISRO expert team will soon visit Chhattisgarh and conduct a detailed study of various sectors in the state through satellite imagery, GIS technology, and data analysis. This will include soil health analysis, accurate assessment of water resources, flood and drought prediction, and the development of a data-driven decision-making system to increase agricultural production.
Chhattisgarh to benefit from cutting-edge space technology.
The use of ISRO’s expertise and modern technologies will provide Chhattisgarh with extensive benefits in agriculture, disaster management, smart infrastructure planning, environmental and forest conservation, and other areas. In the agricultural sector, the use of satellite data will enable better crop forecasting, improved soil quality, and effective management of water resources. It will also strengthen early warning systems for natural disasters such as floods, droughts, and forest fires. It will facilitate real-time monitoring for urban planning, transportation systems, and environmental balance, including monitoring forest areas and preventing illegal logging through the use of state-of-the-art space data.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the partnership between ISRO and the Chhattisgarh government will take technological progress in the state to new heights. Under this initiative, Chhattisgarh research institutions will also be involved, giving young scientists the opportunity to contribute to innovations. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that ISRO’s collaboration will empower the state with future technologies in this new era of space technology, leading to revolutionary changes in areas such as agriculture, environment, water management, and disaster mitigation.
