Durg. Durg Police Captain IPS Jitendra Shukla has suspended three police personnel on charges of indiscipline and misbehavior.
Constable No. 551 Tarun Deshlahre posted in Thana Jamul is accused of indecent behavior and assault on women applicant Payal father Baldau (age 32, resident Umarpoti). On the complaint of the woman, the crime number-117/2025 was registered in the police station Jamul and an investigation was started against the constable. After this, the constable 551 Tarun Deshlahre was suspended from 10 March 2025 and affiliated to the Rakshit Center, Durg.
In addition, Principal constable 1777 Shagir Ahmed Khan and constable 119 Ajay Gehlot, who were posted in ACCU Durg, are accused of showing serious misconduct in the NDPS case. Both have been suspended from 11 March 2025 and have been affiliated to the protected center, fort.
During the suspension period, Shagir Ahmed Khan and Ajay Gehlot will be eligible for life allowance as per rules. The police department has made it clear through this action that strict action will be taken on any police personnel indiscipline or misbehavior.
