Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. The news of drowning of a young man who had gone to take bath in Bodra Anicut has come to light. The SDRF team recovered the body after 4 hours of hard work in Bodra Anicut of Orange River. The deceased youth has been identified as Lakhan Maurya, a 35-year-old resident of Kavdgaon.

According to the information, the young man had come to his family’s place in Bodra village. The young man had gone to Anicut on Wednesday saying he wanted to take a bath. When the young man did not return, his family members started searching for him. Seeing the clothes on the river bank, it was suspected that the young man might have drowned. After which the rescue operation was started by the SDRF team.

After 4 hours of hard work, the SDRF team took out the body of the youth from the Orange River. At present, the body has been handed over to the family members by PM.
