Balrampur: Voting and counting day has been fixed under the Urban Bodies and three -tier Panchayat Election 2025. The Commercial Tax Excise Department Raipur has declared a dry day to ban the sale and counting day in the district. According to the instructions issued, Collector and District Magistrate Rajendra Katara, using the powers provided under the Excise Act, has instructed all the domestic/foreign liquor shops operating in the urban body area to be closed 48 hours before the end of voting.
That is, voting is to be held on 11 February 2025 under the urban body election. For this, all the liquor shops in the district will be closed from 09 February to 11 February. Similarly, on 15 February 2025, the counting day of the urban body election is scheduled. On this day, on 15 February, all the liquor shops in the district will remain closed.
Similarly, voting is to be held on 17 February 2025 in the first phase under the three -tier panchayat election. For this, the liquor shops of Rajpur and Kusami will be closed from 15 February to 17 February 2025. Voting is to be held on 20 February 2025 in the second phase, for this, the liquor shops of Balrampur will be closed from 18 February to 20 February 2025. In the third phase, voting will be held on 23 February 2025. For this, liquor shops of Ramanujganj and Vadrafnagar will be closed from 21 February to 23 February 2025. During the said period, all the domestic/foreign liquor shops located in the urban body area of ββthe district have been directed to close the seal and completely ban the liquor purchasing and drug drugs.
