    Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. A case of molestation has come to light in SIMS of the judicial capital. Here the food contractor’s employee molested the patient’s attendant. When the victim’s mother protested, the contractor’s employees beat up the mother and daughter. The molestation incident in SIMS created a stir.

    According to the information received, the workers of the food contractor of SIMS molested the family of a patient who had come for treatment. The contractor’s workers twisted the girl’s hand and asked for her mobile number. The worker behaved indecently with the girl. When they protested, they beat up the mother and daughter.

    Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police have arrested contractor Abhishek Suryavanshi, Rituraj, Rahul, Sameer and Nagesh. Under the new BNSS law, the police took action under Section 170. At the same time, out of 52 CCTV cameras installed in Sims Hospital, more than 47 are faulty.
