Surguja. A case of purchase and sale of girls for marriage has come up in Ambikapur in the district. It is alleged that those who kidnapped, gave money to both the youths to buy girls. When the girls were not provided, both the youths were kidnapped from Ambikapur railway station. In this entire case, the police have arrested 6 accused, who are related to Damoh and Sagar districts of Madhya Pradesh.
According to the police, accused in Ambikapur, accused in Damoh and Sagar districts of Madhya Pradesh, came to find girls for marriage. Dinesh Marawi and Kaabil Ansari, a local residents, promised to get girls to these accused and took one and a half lakh rupees in return. But when those three girls decided to flee from Ambikapur railway station, the accused kidnapped Dinesh and Kaabil after catching them and took them to Madhya Pradesh.
The accused demanded money over the phone from Dinesh Marawi’s family after the abduction. The family had complained about this entire case to Gandhinagar police station in Ambikapur, after which the police formed a special team and sent it to Madhya Pradesh for the arrest of the accused. After hard work, the police arrested 6 accused from Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh and brought them back to Ambikapur and sent them to jail. Police say that this case is about the purchase and sale of girls for marriage, which is being investigated further.
