Chhattisgarh government’s decision – schools and colleges to open from July

In the midst of Corona crisis, schools and colleges can open in Chhattisgarh from July and admissions related activities can begin. This information was given by Agriculture Minister Ravindra Chaubey after the meeting of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel with all the ministers.

The Agriculture Minister of Chhattisgarh said, ‘We have decided that from the month of July, schools and colleges can start activities related to giving admission and admission to children. Schools and colleges will be started in late July till August, according to the situation ahead.

Schools and colleges have been closed since the day of Janata curfew on March 22 across the country. Now everything is being tried to normalize in the country amidst the ever increasing cases of Corona virus. In Unlock 1, where religious places, shopping malls, hotel restaurants have opened, many states are considering opening schools and colleges. The government of every state will decide to open a school-college on the basis of corona outbreak in its state.

Recently, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has said that the school-college will be considered to open after August. The final decision in this regard will be taken only after assessing the existing conditions. According to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, only after August, new sessions will also be started in universities.

The Haryana government has made it clear by announcing that the schools there will now open only after 15 August 2020. There is no possibility of opening school before this. In fact, the risk of corona is increasing day by day. No risk can be taken with the safety of school children in view of the rapid growth of corona cases since the lockdown has been lifted.
