I feel like we began our efforts from the scratch. We poured substantial amount of efforts in agriculture and rural areas as these were the sectors that needed immediate attention and revival. Waiving off loans of farmers and other such schemes of our government have turned these sections as our strength. This resulted in a boom in Chhattisgarh automobile sector while rest of the country is facing recession in the same sector. Also, our Labour Participation Rate has increased as compared to last year and Unemployment Rate has decreased, as the data from Central Ministry suggests. It is very significant for us that Chhattisgarh has emerged as a glowing sun in the times of dark clouds of recession.
‘Gadhbo Nawa Chhattisgarh’ is our vision to eliminate outdated, exhausted practices of previous Government that were nothing but a burden on people. We have instead introduced a new system of public welfare oriented governance in which every idea we have, every draft we make, every scheme we consider, is for the benefit of larger section of society rather than profiting a limited group of people. ‘Gadhbo Nawa Chhattisgarh’ is leading Chhattisgarh on the way of transformation and development.
The vision of ‘Gadhbo Nawa Chhattisgarh’ is strengthened with the key indicators like housing, health, education and management of water, waste, traffic etc with a smart approach. ‘Narwa, Garuwa, Ghurwa, Baari’ is a flagship of ‘Gadhbo Nawa Chhattisgarh’. ‘Narwa (rivulets and streams), Garuwa (livestock), Ghurwa (compost) and Baari (farms)’ is an innovative vision to revive the agricultural economy. While Narwa is ensuring water conservation, Garuwa is focusing on livestock development, Ghurwa i.e. compost is being used for cultivation of vegetable and fruit backyard, Baari.
