Patients at Ayurvedic college Covid Care Centre (CCC) in Majestic created a ruckus on Sunday night while demanding home-cooked non-vegetarian food. The centre refused to allow food from outside and asked them to follow the rules and eat the diet food that is being served in-house.
About 130 patients in the CCC started demanding home-cooked non-vegetarian food. According to the police, a few patients started creating a ruckus at night and were not listening to the doctors inside the centre. When things went out of control, they complained to the Upparpet police, who rushed to the spot.
A senior officer said, “We went inside the campus but since it’s a CCC, we were not allowed inside the building. Within a few minutes, we were told that the situation was brought under control by the doctors.”
