At around 5.10 am in the morning, a drone was seen hovering in the sky in the area of border post.

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday killed a Pakistani drone on the international border in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials said a BSF patrol saw a drone hovering in the sky in the area of Border Outpost Pansar at around 5.10 am. Then BSF jawans fired 9 bullets and shot the drone 250 meters in the Indian territory.

Senior officials of BSF and Police have reached the spot and the matter is being investigated.

Let us tell you that another attempt by Pakistan’s agencies to drop weapons from across the border using drones on the Kathua border was thwarted. Weapons and ammunition have been recovered in search of goods loaded on Pakistan drones.

“One M-4 US made rifle, two magazines and 60 grenades with 60 rounds were found in this baggage,” said an official. The delivery was for an Ali bhai as the packet was written by his name.

He said that the blade of the drone is 8 feet wide and it seems that in front of Panesar post in Kathua sector it was being controlled by Pakistani post.

Let me tell you that earlier, when an encounter took place in Toll Plaza Nagrota, the weapons found by the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad, who were killed after infiltration from Pakistan, were also similar high tech weapons.
