Chief Minister Shri Chouhan holds meeting with officials of Bharat Biogas Energy Limited Bhopal: Sunday, January 24, 2021, 20:11 IST Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that both cow dung and straw are very useful and with their use in Madhya Pradesh Plans are being made for the production of bio CNG and organic solids and liquid fertilizers. In the first phase, Salaria Go-Sanctuary and Kamadhenu Raisen have been selected for this. Here, the project will be made through Bharat Biogas Energy Ltd. In our neighboring state of Gujarat, both of them are being successfully operated. Madhya Pradesh will also work rapidly in the field of production of CNG and bio-fertilizers from cow dung and parali. The Chief Minister was meeting with officials of Bharat Biogas Energy Limited, Anand Gujarat at his residence today. Animal Husbandry Minister Mr. Prem Singh Patel, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Mr. Mahendra Singh Sisodia, Bharat Biogas Chairman Dr. Bharat G. Patel, Mr. Subodh Shah, Mr. Phanindra Bhushan, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. K.K. Singh, Principal Secretary Mr. Ajit Kesari, Principal Secretary Mr. Manish Rastogi etc. were present. Will conduct the project, will also provide training. Bharat Biogas Chairman Mr. Bharat Patel said that Bharat Biogas completed bio CNG and bio solids and liquid fertilizer at both these places. A plan will be made which will run for 3 to 5 years. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave initial approval to this and directed the officials to take further action. In presentation of 3000 kg CNG per day, Shri Patel said that 70 metric tons of raw material per day in Salaria go-sanctuary, including cow dung, straw, grass and About 3000 kg of bio CNG will be produced daily from rural waste included. With this, about 25 metric tons of solid organic fertilizer and about 7000 liters of liquid organic fertilizer will be produced every day. Along with this, plantation of various species, bamboo planting, dragon fruit plantation etc. will also be done. Model plant will be made in Raisen; Is being made In this plant, we plan to make 400 kg of bio CNG, about 3 metric tons of solid organic fertilizer and about 1000 liters of liquid organic fertilizer per day in a mixture of about 10 MT of cow dung and straw, as raw material Marketing Shri Patel informed that Bio-CNG and Solid and Liquid Fertilizer made at these locations by Bharat Biogas will also be branded and marketed in India and abroad. They have a good market. Local people will also be imparted training in this area, which will provide employment to local people. Services of ‘Aakash Patra’ Gujarat will also be taken. Services will be availed. Akshaya Patra is doing commendable work in this field in Gujarat. Greater participation of the community will be ensured in the operation of cowsheds. The number of cows will be increased in Salaria. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that at present Salaria Go-Sanctuary has 4000 cows, while the capacity of Go-Sanctuary is 10,000 cows. In future, the number of bovine will be increased here.
