In view of the increasing cases of Corona virus infection, the West Bengal government has decided to ban the airline from 6 metros to Kolkata. Kolkata Airport has said that no aircraft will be allowed from Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Chennai and Ahmedabad to Kolkata from 6 to 19 July or until further orders, nor will there be flights from here to these cities. Will be operational. 

It has been said by the Kolkata airport director that this decision has been made keeping in mind the appeal made by the West Bengal government due to Kovid-19. It is to be noted that among these six metros only the country has the highest number of corona cases. On the other hand, Corona cases are also increasing rapidly in West Bengal.

So far, 20 thousand 488 people have been infected in West Bengal. 717 people have died in the state, while 13 thousand 571 people have recovered. There are 6200 active cases in the state.

In the last 24 hours, a record 22,771 new cases have been reported in the country in the horrific condition of corona infection, which has crossed 6.48 lakh infected people. According to data released on Saturday by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 22,771 new cases of corona infection have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected to 6,48,315. The number of deaths has increased to 18,655 with 442 deaths due to corona virus during the same period.
