VinFast has introduced its VF6 and VF7 electric vehicles in India, marking its debut in the premium segment. The introductory prices for the VF6 and VF7 are Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 20.89 lakh, respectively. These models will contend with established players such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and others in the growing Indian EV market. The company plans to expand its reach to South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Bookings for the VF6 and VF7 were initiated in July, requiring a token amount of Rs 21,000. The brand has established partnerships with 13 dealer groups to set up 32 dealerships across 27 cities, with a goal to have 35 dealerships operational by the end of 2025.
