To fortify its after-sales support for electric vehicles in India, VinFast has partnered with Castrol India. This strategic alliance will leverage Castrol’s extensive network to deliver comprehensive service solutions to VinFast’s EV customers nationwide. The partnership is designed to create a robust service infrastructure tailored for EV owners in India. Selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops, strategically located across 300+ cities, will be equipped to service VinFast vehicles. These workshops will be branded with VinFast’s identity and staffed with certified EV technicians. The service centers will also stock genuine VinFast parts. VinFast will contribute service manuals, diagnostic tools, training programs, and warranty processes. Concurrently, Castrol will focus on maintaining the operational standards of the workshops. The collaboration aims to integrate Castrol’s service expertise, cutting-edge service protocols, and a digitally-enabled workshop environment. This integrated approach is intended to provide consistent quality and customer-centric services. VinFast has established its first international assembly plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles per annum, with plans for expansion up to 150,000 units. The plant is anticipated to create numerous direct employment opportunities. VinFast has set a goal to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by the end of 2025 through partnerships with leading dealer groups. With the introduction of the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs in the Indian market, VinFast is simultaneously developing a strong service network to provide customers with reliable support. VinFast and Castrol are set to improve service standards through the use of advanced diagnostics, authentic parts, and digital-first solutions.
