Maruti Suzuki introduces the Victoris, a new SUV designed to bolster its existing range and challenge rivals. The Victoris will be competing against the Hyundai Creta, and other established models like the Honda Elevate, and Kia Sonet. The Victoris has been confirmed to have achieved a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Customers can book the Victoris for an initial payment of ₹11,000.
The car features a 1.5-liter petrol engine with mild-hybrid powertrains. It has connected LED lights, a new grille, DRLs, sharp headlights, and pronounced wheel arches. Other exterior features include a shark fin antenna, a powered tailgate with gesture control, and rear skid plates. Inside, the Victoris offers 64-colour ambient lighting, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Alexa assistant with Suzuki maps, an Infinity audio system with Dolby Atmos and 8 speakers, a panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable ventilated front seats, and an underbody CNG tank.
The Victoris will be produced in India and exported worldwide.
Safety tests have awarded the Victoris a 5-star crash test rating. The Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) score is 31.66 out of 32, and Child Protection scored 43 out of 49, which are for all variants. Standard safety features include six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.
