The updated Tata Sierra SUV was displayed by Tata Motors at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The vehicle has been frequently observed undergoing testing in India. Recent images indicate that the launch of the Tata Sierra ICE variant, which will feature petrol and diesel engines, is imminent.
Recent photographs reveal the test model is fully camouflaged, concealing its design. However, the design was previously unveiled at the expo, and the production model is expected to closely resemble it. The images show the SUV refueling at a petrol station. Based on these photos and the expo model, the Tata Sierra ICE is anticipated to include:
* A complete LED lighting system.
* Full-width light bars at the front and rear.
* Black ORVMs (side mirrors).
* A unique C-pillar design.
* Flush-fitting door handles.
Additional features include a shark fin antenna, among others.
Spy shots suggest the Tata Sierra ICE will incorporate a three-screen layout: a digital driver display, a large central infotainment touchscreen, and a third screen for the front passenger. All three screens are projected to measure about 12.3 inches and will have a floating design. The cabin is designed to provide a more luxurious feel, with a dual-tone theme, soft-touch materials, and ambient lighting throughout.
Engine Options for the Tata Sierra
The new Tata SUV is expected to offer three engine options: a 2.0-liter diesel engine (similar to the one in the Tata Harrier), a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. Furthermore, the company has announced that an electric version (EV) of the Tata Sierra is also in development and will be launched shortly.
