TVS, a well-known name in the scooter market, is gearing up to introduce a 150cc model, expanding its range from the popular 125cc scooters. The company aims to capitalize on its strong brand recognition to make a mark in a segment currently dominated by the likes of Aprilia and Yamaha. A recent teaser campaign has unveiled the forthcoming TVS Ntorq 150.
The teased model, potentially set to rival the Yamaha Aerox 155, Aprilia SR175, and the Hero Xoom 160, showcases design elements similar to the existing Ntorq, including a quad-projector LED headlight setup. Performance-wise, the Ntorq 150 is anticipated to deliver around 12 BHP and 13 N·m of torque, coupled with a CVT transmission. The teaser suggests a more thrilling riding experience, promising improved acceleration. The exhaust note is also highlighted, offering a deeper and more resonant sound profile. Additional features are expected, such as disc brakes and a 5-inch TFT instrument screen, which is already present on the Raider 125 model.
