TVS Apache, a prominent performance bike series in India, celebrates its 20th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, TVS has unveiled special offerings for its riders. The manufacturer has introduced limited-edition models and upgraded top-end variants with enhanced features, signifying the Apache’s evolution from a performance-focused bike to a blend of power, style, and advanced technology.
Limited-edition models include the RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V, Apache RTR 310, and RR 310. These models boast a fresh aesthetic with premium touches, incorporating a black-and-champagne-gold livery, dual-tone alloy wheels, and a 20th-anniversary logo. Furthermore, a USB charging port has been added to enhance rider convenience. Pricing for these limited-edition models ranges from ₹1,37,990 (RTR 160) to ₹3,37,000 (RR 310).
In addition to the limited editions, TVS has updated its top-end variants, RTR 160 4V and RTR 200 4V. These variants now feature a Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs, a fully LED setup, a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and voice assist, a traction control system, and an assist-and-slipper clutch. Color options include Racing Red, Marine Blue, and Matt Black for the 160 4V, and Granite Grey for the 200 4V, with prices varying from ₹1,28,490 to ₹1,59,990.
The Apache was initially launched in 2005. Over the years, the bike has achieved sales exceeding 6.5 million units and is currently sold in over 80 countries. The Apache series benefits from TVS’s racing technology, contributing to its strong market presence.
K.N. Radhakrishnan, CEO of TVS Motor Company, highlighted that Apache’s success is a testament to the trust of over 6.5 million customers. The company plans to venture into new segments and focus on delivering improved experiences for riders globally.
