Tesla is significantly increasing its footprint in India’s electric vehicle sector with the imminent launch of its second retail location. The new Tesla Experience Centre is set to open on August 11 within the premium WorldMark 3 complex in Aerocity, Delhi, serving the National Capital Region. This follows closely on the heels of the Mumbai showroom opening on July 15 at the Maker Maxity Mall, which was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He expressed enthusiasm for Tesla’s arrival and encouraged the company to consider establishing research and development, as well as manufacturing facilities. The Aerocity center is currently in its final stages of construction, with a projected monthly rent of around Rs 25 lakh. Social media has already showcased images of the outlet, highlighting the brand’s upscale image. Tesla’s current offering in India is the Model Y, with prices beginning at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
