Tata Motors has launched the Adventure X models for the Harrier and Safari SUVs, targeting the Indian market. These new variants are designed to provide a comprehensive range of features similar to the top-end trims but at a more accessible price point. The Harrier Adventure X is priced at ₹18.99 lakh, the Harrier Adventure X Plus at ₹19.34 lakh, and the Safari Adventure X Plus at ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
With these new models, Tata streamlined the variant lineup, reducing options for the Harrier and Safari. The new Adventure X and X Plus variants provide top-tier features at a better value. Traditionally, some buyers of these vehicles would modify the base models. However, these Adventure X models provide a factory-equipped solution. The Karol Bagh area in Delhi is a popular destination for aftermarket car modifications.
The new Harrier Adventure X variant includes a range of features, including the new Seaweed Green color option along with other available colors. It features 17-inch alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery, Level-2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and terrain response modes, plus a Land Rover-sourced mono-shifter.
The Adventure X Plus variant includes the Level-2 ADAS, EPB and rear disc brakes, for a price increase of ₹34,000.
The Safari Adventure X Plus includes the Supernova Copper color with Adventure Oak interior, 18-inch alloy wheels, light brown leather upholstery, Level-2 ADAS, adaptive cruise control, EPB, a 360-degree camera, terrain response modes, a mono-shifter, an electrically adjustable driver seat with memory function, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, and a digital console.
Both the Harrier and Safari Adventure X models are powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine that delivers 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, coupled with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Tata has also introduced the Pure X variant, which is positioned above the entry-level Smart variant and priced at ₹17.99 lakh.
