Following the government’s decision to reduce GST on cars, Tata Motors will be decreasing the prices of its vehicles. The new prices, which will be effective from September 22nd, will make Tata cars more affordable by up to ₹1.50 lakh. The popular Tata Nexon model will experience the most significant price drop, with a reduction of about ₹1.55 lakh.
The company explained that the price cuts for passenger vehicles are a direct result of the GST reduction, with the goal of ensuring customers fully benefit from the tax changes. This will mean that, starting September 22nd, Tata cars will be available at prices ₹75,000 to ₹1.45 lakh lower than before. According to Shailesh Chandra, MD of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, the company is committed to conveying the full advantages of the GST reduction to its customers, in line with the Prime Minister’s vision, the Finance Minister’s directives, and the company’s customer-centric strategy.
