Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) has made its comeback to the South African market. The launch event, held in Johannesburg, featured the Harrier, Curvv, Punch, and Tiago models. The Harrier, a full-size SUV, boasts a powerful design and is 4,605 mm long, featuring a 2.0-liter Kryotec turbocharged engine that delivers 125 kW and 350 Nm of torque. It offers advanced connectivity via a 10.25-inch or 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Harrier includes six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, and Level 2 ADAS. The Curvv is a coupe-inspired SUV, 4,308 mm in length, with a 1.2-liter Revotron turbocharged petrol engine producing 88 kW and 170 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCA automatic transmission. It includes a 7-inch or 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability program (ESP). The Punch, a compact SUV, houses a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine that generates 65 kW and 115 Nm. It offers either a 7-inch Harman infotainment system or a 10.5-inch floating display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Tiago, a compact hatchback, has a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine (63 kW, 113 Nm) and offers a 7.0-inch or 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety features include ABS, EBD, corner stability control, and two airbags.
