The Tata Harrier EV has been launched, capitalizing on the growing electric vehicle market. The RWD version’s pricing has been announced, with prices ranging from Rs 21.49 lakh to Rs 27.49 lakh. Bookings begin on July 2, 2025. The price structure encompasses several RWD variants: Adventure 65, Adventure S 65, Fearless+ 65, Fearless +75, and Empowered 75. Additional costs apply for the AC fast charger and its installation, while the price for the top-tier AWD variant remains unreleased.
The Harrier EV’s exterior design maintains similarities with the ICE model, adapted to align with the brand’s EV aesthetic. Key design elements include a closed-off grill, updated bumper, and distinct design lines. It also features 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels and EV badging. The EV is slightly larger in length and height compared to the standard Harrier. A detailed comparison is made with other EV models, covering specifications such as range, acceleration, battery size, features, drivetrain, power output, torque, charging durations, and pricing, providing a comprehensive overview of competing models.
The Harrier EV is built on an advanced version of Tata’s ACTi EV platform, first seen in the Punch EV. The base model includes a 65 kWh LFP battery paired with a rear-mounted motor, generating 238 hp. Upgraded trims boast a 75 kWh LFP battery with dual motors, capable of producing 504 Nm of torque. The 75 kWh RWD and AWD versions offer an extensive range of up to 627 km. The RWD model delivers a real-world range of 480-505 km. The EV can be fully charged using a 7.2 kWh AC charger in 10.7 hours, and a 120 kW DC charger can charge the battery from 20-80% in just 25 minutes. The vehicle’s features also include an Ultra Glide Multi-Link Suspension setup, frequency-dependent dampers, an off-road assist function, and a transparent mode to enhance the driving experience.
