Swiggy, a prominent food delivery platform, has entered into a partnership with electric mobility firm Bounce. As part of this agreement, Swiggy will incorporate electric scooters into its delivery operations. Bounce will initially roll out its electric scooters in Delhi-NCR and Bangalore over the next three months. These scooters will be available via the Bounce mobile app and the Swiggy delivery partner app, specifically at discounted rates for Swiggy and Instamart delivery personnel.
The partnership between Swiggy and Bounce is designed to provide delivery partners with more affordable and accessible electric mobility solutions, while also decreasing operating expenses and reducing the environmental impact of hyperlocal deliveries. The company, headquartered in Bangalore, is currently collaborating with more than 50 EV partners across the country to encourage the use of electric vehicles in its delivery fleet. Swiggy indicated that this collaboration with Bounce will fortify the existing supply of EVs.
