The Skoda Kylaq, a sub-compact SUV introduced by Skoda last year, has emerged as a highly successful model, significantly boosting the company’s sales figures. The Kylaq has transformed Skoda India’s market performance, with sales experiencing a remarkable surge. In the last seven months, the brand’s sales have more than doubled, showcasing the Kylaq’s strong market presence.
The Kylaq is positioned in a competitive segment, vying for customers against popular models such as the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Tata Nexon.
With deliveries commencing in January 2025, Skoda has successfully sold 27,091 units of the Kylaq. Impressively, these sales constitute 65% of the company’s total sales of 41,748 units between January and July 2025. The Kylaq’s impact culminated in a record-breaking month for Skoda in March 2025, with 7,422 cars sold – the highest monthly sales to date. The Kylaq has effectively doubled Skoda’s sales, increasing them from 17,565 units to 41,748 units.
