After pausing sales to correct an engine problem, Royal Enfield’s Scram 440 is available again. The initial halt was prompted by concerns regarding the engine’s ability to restart after use, a problem traced back to the Woodruff key in the magneto. The Scram 440 aims to provide an off-road-capable experience for those seeking an alternative to the Himalayan. It is powered by a 443cc engine producing 25.4 bhp and 34Nm torque. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and features switchable ABS and alloy wheels. Sales were temporarily suspended, and while availability is presently limited, production is set to increase.
