The two-wheeler landscape sees a new contender with TVS’s launch of the Ntorq 150. It’s poised to challenge the Aprilia SR 175, Hero Xoom 160, and Yamaha Aerox 155. This comparison aims to provide clarity on the key differences between these models.
While rivals may have more power on paper, the Ntorq 150 stands out with its blend of advanced features and an affordable price. TVS has equipped the Ntorq 150 with cutting-edge technology, such as dual riding modes (Street and Race), traction control, and single-channel ABS. In Street mode, the throttle response is optimized for smoothness, and power is capped at 10.9hp. The ISG’s electric boost is deactivated, but essential functions like silent start and stop/start are retained. Race mode unleashes the scooter’s full potential, delivering 13.2hp along with the ISG’s electric boost.
Adding to the appeal are connected features when you link your smartphone or smartwatch with the display via the TVS app. These include Alexa voice support, geofencing, Bluetooth for calls and notifications, music playback, SOS alerts, and more. Most of these features are found in the top variant, which boasts the 5-inch color TFT display from the Apache RTR 310 and premium switchgear. The base model features the split LCD/TFT unit from the Ntorq XT and Jupiter 125 SXC, with user-friendly controls similar to those found on the Apache 160/200.
