With the implementation of new GST rates on September 22nd, consumers are seeing price reductions in scooters. This article explores the price adjustments for the Suzuki Access and Honda Activa scooters.
The Suzuki Access, which rivals the Honda Activa, has become 8,523 rupees cheaper. The price now ranges from 77,284 rupees (ex-showroom) to 93,877 rupees (ex-showroom). The Suzuki Access boasts features such as a color TFT digital console, navigation, last parking location information, incoming caller ID, and WhatsApp notifications displayed on its screen.
Honda Activa models (110cc and 125cc) have also become more affordable due to GST cuts. The 110cc model is now 7,874 rupees less expensive, and the 125cc model is 8,259 rupees cheaper. The 110cc scooter costs between 74,369 rupees (ex-showroom) and 84,021 rupees (ex-showroom), while the 125cc model costs 88,339 rupees and 91,983 rupees. The Honda Activa incorporates features like a smart key, H Smart technology, a TFT screen, a 15-watt USB Type-C port for phone charging, alloy wheels, and an idle stop system.
Regarding fuel efficiency, the 110cc 6G model of the Activa delivers up to 59.5 kilometers per liter, while the 125cc model offers up to 47 kilometers per liter. The Suzuki Access provides a mileage of up to 45 kilometers per liter.
