Royal Enfield has expanded its Guerrilla 450 lineup with the new Shadow Ash color variant. This move capitalizes on the popularity of dark editions among vehicle manufacturers. Unveiled at the GRRR Nights X Underground event in Pune, the new color scheme aims to give the Guerrilla a fresh visual appeal. While not as commercially successful as some other Royal Enfield models, the Guerrilla targets riders seeking a sporty, neo-retro streetfighter. The Shadow Ash trim is positioned between the standard and top-spec models and carries the same price tag as the base models, at ₹2.49 lakh. Bookings are now open, with deliveries starting on August 25th. The new variant features a two-tone fuel tank with black at the front and olive green extending across the rest of the bike. The front mudguard is black, complementing the olive green body. The alloy wheels also feature color accents to match the new design. Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged, powered by the Sherpa 450 engine. This single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generates 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque. The bike is equipped with an electronic throttle, slipper clutch, and a 6-speed gearbox. It also includes 17-inch alloys, dual-channel ABS, and a rear monoshock.
The article includes a comparison table of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 with its competitors, highlighting key features such as engine displacement, performance metrics, suspension systems, chassis designs, weight, and pricing.
