In a move benefiting Indian consumers, Renault India has decided to pass on the advantages of GST 2.0 to its entire range of vehicles. The price adjustments, effective from September 22, 2025, affect the Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models. Renault is now part of the companies, which already includes Tata Motors, Mercedes-Benz, and Mahindra, giving GST cuts to its customers. The Kwid’s price now starts at Rs 4.30 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.90 lakh, with savings from Rs 40,095 to Rs 54,995. The Kiger is priced from Rs 5.76 lakh. The base variant gets a reduction of Rs 53,695, with the top-end variant seeing a decrease of up to Rs 96,395. The top model now costs Rs 10.34 lakh ex-showroom. The Triber’s starting price is also set at Rs 5.76 lakh, where the base trim receives a reduction of Rs 53,695. The top-spec Triber is available at Rs 8.60 lakh, with a discount of up to Rs 80,195. Renault India’s Managing Director, Venkatram Mamillapalli, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing the full GST benefit to customers, believing this will make vehicles more affordable and drive demand during the festive period. The recent Kiger and Triber facelifts include new styling and features, making the models even more appealing with the price reductions. The Kwid continues to be a popular option for first-time car buyers in the Indian market.
