The next-generation Renault Duster SUV is gearing up for its Indian debut early next year, with production slated to begin soon. This mid-size SUV is positioned to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Toyota High Rider. The design and styling of the 2026 Renault Duster have undergone substantial changes. The SUV will incorporate a new prominent signature grille along with LED lights, Y-shaped elements in the headlamps and taillamps, redesigned bumpers, square wheel arches, attractive body cladding, and new alloy wheels. Dimensionally, the global model offers an approach angle of 31 degrees and a departure angle of 36 degrees. It has a length of 4,345 mm, a width of 1,822 mm, and a height of 1,660 mm, supported by a wheelbase of 2,658 mm. The SUV will be offered in both 4X2 and 4X4 configurations, boasting ground clearances of 212 mm and 174 mm, respectively. The new Duster will come in seven colors: Shadow Grey, Cedar Green, Khaki Green, Solid White, Terracotta, Pearl Black, and Sandstone, and the Indian version may also adopt this color palette. The vehicle will be equipped with features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch driver display, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, a 6-speaker Arkamys Classic audio system, electric folding mirrors, USB charging points, a wireless charger, and an electric parking brake. Safety features include a 360-degree camera, 3-point seat belts for all seats, ADAS, and blind-spot monitoring. For the Indian market, the 2026 Renault Duster is expected to offer multiple petrol engine choices. Globally, the SUV is available with a 160 bhp, 1.3-liter petrol engine and a 130 bhp, 1.2-liter mild-hybrid petrol engine. Both manual and automatic transmissions will be available, while the 4X4 drivetrain system will be exclusive to higher-spec models.
